Hi Matt!

Congrats! Doesn't that success feel grand! Makes the efforts worth it.

You bet it's fun! My first DX was also an OK2. I was still a novice. After
logging the contact, I had to look up the prefix in a braille book to find
out where he was, hi hi.

May you have many more victories.

73,
Dave

Subject: First DX Contact Since getting my General Ticket!

Hi, Folks. Great news! I got my first DX contact since getting my general
ticket. Spoke with OK2RZ, Jiri in the Czech Republic at 5:05PM today on
14.26701Mhz. He was running a gallon, and I only had 100 watts. Quite a
kick. Who says ham radio isn't fun, hi.--Matt, N1IBB.
