I'll keep it for future reference.
My only question would be that, by the time you bought the replacement
batteries, paid him to install them, and paid to and from shipping costs
between somewhere else in the US and California, wouldn't you almost be
paying more than what the radios are currently worth?
Not trying to be difficult or argumentative here.
Just trying to look at things from an economic standpoint.
