Hi Alan,
I was thinking more in the realm of something a lot less expensive than
the powermaster/hampod combo, but good to know it works.
I do run a Wavenode WN-2 computer controlled swr/power meter, and even
though there is an internal voice in the Wavenode, as well as speech
from JAWS to give readings, I have found the tones to be pretty
useless. Too much lag time between tweaking the knobs and waiting
for the tones to catch up.
A sighted ham using this setup would have a visual display that
seems to work better than the tone implementation.
So this is why I keep the TW-1 in line. Not likely I'll have any 5 kw
amps here anytime soon, so maybe the TW-1 will keep doing it's job.
73, hope you are doing well, Steve KW3A
