I don't expect we'll have much luck with the 40-meter roundtable this
afternoon, because the New York QSO Party and the Jamboree on the Air are
both active around 7191.
The German WAG SSB and CW contest is going on from 1500Z today to 1500Z
tomorrow, and I was pleased to find that we had an opening from here to much
of Europe on 10 meters today from about 1600 to 1700. I worked about 45
German stations on 10, with 100 watts and with the beam stuck a little east
of north. Fifteen meters has been good to Europe for several mornings, and
will probably still be good tomorrow.
