For some reason, when I have three radios hooked up to the same supply, I
can't run the tmv-71 on high power.

I put the radio on a switching supply that I have, and now it works.

Unfortunately I get carriers every 25 khz or so.

I wonder if a big toroid ring to wrap the power cord in will help?

I can put the ring on the AC or the DC side, advice appreciated.
