I am in CT and just saw some bakery items from Creative Occasions - a
commercial bakery in TN - labeled gluten free. They were at a large chain supermarket in the bakery section.

This company has been purchased by a larger company and thy have referred my
"complaint" to their regulatory division. In the meantime, BEWARE.

Creative Occasions commercial bakery of TN has one bake house and as such
labels that there is wheat in the factory. The person I spoke with confirmed
that this bakery does not follow the FDA regulations for GF labeling in that
they do NOT do any of the following FDA options for labeling below:

- Conduct in house testing,
- or employ a 3rd party to conduct in house testing,
- or request certificates of gluten analysis from ingredient suppliers,
- or participate in 3rd party GF certification program.

* Please remember some posters may be WHEAT-FREE, but not GLUTEN-FREE *
