Hello Christian,
I am sure you will like the TS-2000 very much! I have been using one since
December of 2001. It is a great radio, particularly since you have all: HF,
VHF and UHF. I am totally blind and I have never had a problem using it.
Yes, you may have to memorize a couple of the menus as to how to set them,
but once you do it, you will remember.
Handiham.org has a MP3 manual for it to get you started.
I also have now have the TS-590 which is a little more blind friendly, but
only covers 160 through 6 meters as you know.
