Our field day call was kd0wqo. I don't think I saw your call on our log.
Scott, k0nfb worked 40 and I worked 20, 15 and 10.

Not sure if I worked you guys or not.
I forget the FD call, so if you want to post it again, I'll try and see.

Hi,
You may remember earlier last week I mentioned that the Iowa Blind Amateur
Radio Club was going to do a small field day here at my place. We ran 2E and
in a total of maybe nine hours of operating for two of us we picked up 28
sections in 50 contacts.

Steve:
Sounds like you did ok, especially on 80.
And, I have yet to work N3FJP himself, so you have that leg up on me yet!
Hang in there; there's always next year!

Sounds like everybody had fun at FD this year. I was a little
disappointed here. Had to shut down part of the time for T storms.
Also seems my 5 watts didn't do as well for me as last year.
Only had 65 QSO's. Almost all cw, although I did work N3FJP on 75 SSB.
At least 1 contact on 160, 80, 40, 20, and 6 meters.
I seemed to have my best results on 80 CW since the band was active,
but not wall to wall bedlam like 40. Even with only 5 watts and all
the summer noise on 80, I was able to work up and down the east coast, and
as far west as Kansas.
This is the second or third year I've done the 1E QRP thing for FD.
Not sure about next year, maybe the QRP novelty has worn off for me.
