Yes, you cannot read Bard books on your computer. They have to be on an
authorized device. This can be a Braille Sense, or another note taker,
it can be a Victor reader, or you can put them on a blank cartridge or
a thumb drive and play them on the Digital Talking Book player provided
by NLS. I hope this helps. If you have a smart phone, you can also
download the Bard ap and play books on your smart phone.
