Hi Listers,
I continue to use Google maps with JAWS, but yes it is a lot trickier
than it used to be. Sometimes when you go to www.maps.google.com and
click Get Directions, the link doesn't activate, so you have to use
the JAWS cursor and mouse click on the num pad. Once the get
directions dialog comes up and you type in the from and to addresses
and hit search, the screen gives you very general directions, no
specifics. Again with the JAWS cursor and mouse key on the num pad,
you have to click ""details," and then it will show you the step by
step directions. Is it a pain? Definitely! Not sure who at Google
could help us fix this, but I will try to find out.
