Chrome books are quite accessible. The experience is similar to using
Chrome with ChromeVox, so you can play around with that to get an idea
of how things work and whether apps are accessible. The difference is
that things tend to work more smoothly in Chrome OS than in the browser
on other platforms. I don't use mine extensively enough to give an
opinion about whether they can replace a Windows or Apple device. I
would say they probably can, but if I were making the decision for a
school, I would test a Chrome Book for a month, using one to do the
kinds of tasks students will be doing.
