I'm going to right Braille the way I learned it. This UEB is a hoax! they
have had Braille translation programs long before UEB. If computers can be
programmed to do most everything else, they can be programmed to translate
print characters into Grade 2 Braille the way it is.

From what little I've seen of UEB, it isn't all that bad. They don't put
signs together, (e.g.) I think you have to use the of sign and the the sign
separately to write "of the". It did throw me a bit the first time I saw
the word "reduce" though, because its now written r ed-sign u c e, which
would make it easier for a translator.
It'll just take some getting used to, and then it'll be the normal thing.
