Hay Frank,
There is a link on PRN.net to get your ID in the getting started page.
The DMR-marc site is down, so the folks in Germany are issuing IDs until
things get resolved.

There are very few repeaters at all on UHF due to the military's Pave Paws=
=20
system. Unless the repeater is right up top of the band which only IDAS one=
s=20
are, anything especially eastern MA, is very low power. Definitely in MA,=20
stay with VHF. I can't help you on the other but if you google gemoto, ther=
e=20
might be help there for you.

Subject: Getting my feet wet in DMR
Hi all, OK I decided to take the plunge and get my feet wet in DMR. I have =
=3D two questions. If I am reading the repeater directory correctly it looks
li= =3D ke most DMR repeaters in Massachusetts are VHF not UHF, is that
correct? My= =3D second question is where can I download a code plug for the
Massachusetts = =3D repeaters?
Thanks
