Tom, if you have access to the HandiHams site; Matt Arthur has some good demos of this rig that he recorded.

Subject: TS2000 documentation files needed
Hello, everyone.
Well, today, our work at the county EOC was reasonably successful.
We got the TS2000 up and running on both VHF and HF.
I got the chance to play around with the rig a bit, and I am convinced that I can learn its basic functions and features if given some time to do so, especially since the VGS1 chip is installed.
To help in this endeavor, I have downloaded and saved the TS2000 quick guide and key chart from icanworkthisthing.com.
I also found the manual there, but could not seem to download it. If anyone has a clean text copy of the manual, please send it to me at:

If there are other files that might help me in learning the rig, I'd appreciate them too.
I'd like to get at least reasonably comfortable with the TS2000, should I be called upon to operate it at the EOC for any needed emergency communications.
Thank you!
