Tom, I am in full agreement.  I knew something was hinky, when I saw that 
they wanted a grand for the icom 761.  Since it goes for about $500, with a 
mic, I figured they were getting goofy.  I now deal with anyone but.  Their 
phone presence has become abrasive as well.  They're only 30 miles away and 
it isn't far enough.
