There are those who love the k3 and think it is the best thing out 
there.  I personally think the best bang for the buck these days is the 
kenwood 590.  Perhaps not as great in the k3 in some aspects, but it 
also costs much less.  I have a 990 and love it.  There are those on the 
990 lit who swear it is better than a k3, and some who go the other way.


Either way, talk to people and remember, most of us tend to think that 
what we have is the best.
