Hi Jim!
I've only heard it used on CW, but then, how many run QRP on SSB? Hi hi.
Someone once thought I'd made up a strange code when I said 161, and then
didn't believe me when I told them it's the sum of 73 and 88 until they got
their calculator out. Hi hi.
73,
Dave

Well I learned something today. I'd heard people say 72 instead of 73, but
didn't know what it meant. As I understand it, it's used by folks running
QRP. That was a new one on me. Do folks use it on SSB too? Since I mainly
work CW, I've never run into it on SSB.
