Sure I was because I grew up in the 60's when most all adults smoked. If I
remember correctly, the Surgeon General's declaration that smoking was
hazardous to your health came out in 1964. By the time that anyone payed
attention to the declaration, it was in the 70's when I moved into a dorm at
MIT. Very few kids smoked.

Allan, were you around a lot of smokers during your younger days? I never
have smoked either. However, I've been around lots of people who did. I'm
afraid that I may get lung cancer some day even though I haven't smoked.
Nevertheless, my wife, Sheilla and I will pray for you every single day
until we receive the good news that the cancer is GONE! 73. Doug, N6NFF and

I have never smoked in my life, so it is kind of odd thatI got cancer in my
lungs.

ouch! I had a relative that passed away from that specific cancer. He =
probably would still be alive if the VA hadn't misdiagnosed it as =
emphysema. Alan caught it early, so the chances are fairly good.
