ah yes, your right, I had the HTX100 not the 10.
It was designed very much like the Uniden HR2510 radio.

The HTX10 has FM, AM, and SSB, but not CW.

It will work repeater splits, but you may need sighted help to get the 
100 KHZ split set.

Note, however, that it does not have provision for a tone board.

The older HTX100, which was made in the 1980s, includes CW and SSB, but 
not AM, and I don't think it has FM either.
