OK, thanks to this great list, my problem was very easily fixed. I did as
you suggested and went into JAWS and changed that one setting, and that
solved the problem.
This was ham related because now I can read the ham related website that I
could not read before!!

You can view the site in English with JAWS by unchecking the language =
detect change setting. The easiest way to access this setting is to = press
insert v, type in language and press enter to show the search = results. The
setting you want to change should be the third one in the = list.
