Hi Jeff,
The TMV71A is a great choice. I have one sitting here on the
communications desk. I also have the mobile version of the radio, the
Kenwood TM-D710.
Both of the radios have the VGS1 voice chip installed, making these radios
very accessible.
Hope you find a radio that you will enjoy working with.
Good luck:

Subject: moble radios
Hi,
I am looking for an accessible 2M/70CM moble radio to put in my parents
van. If anyone has any ideas on what would be a good radio to go with i
would appreciate it.
Since they drive me all over i would like to have a nice radio to use, and
ht's don't really work around where i live.
Thanks
