Jim, I remember studying the Omega system back at MIT, and at that time, it
was on 8 Hz. The antenna for the Omega system was buried in Michigan, and
it went on and on for many miles.

Bob does it really tune to 30 or did you mean 300 KHZ? I thought
that 30 KHZ was where they transmit digital information to

I just updated the firmware on my TS590S to version 2.0. The
upgrade
went without a hitch and the new update adds several new features
from
the SG series to the older S model that I own.
I think I saw a question about how far down in frequency the 590
will
tune. It will tune down to 30 KHZ.
