Ok thanks Alan, that's Really low! I'm sure it's also digitally
encrypted so no point in even trying to listen if the 590 did

Jim, the last I knew, Omega transmissions to subs are on 8 Hz

that 30 KHZ was where they transmit digital information to

I just updated the firmware on my TS590S to version 2.0. The
upgrade
went without a hitch and the new update adds several new features
from
the SG series to the older S model that I own.
I think I saw a question about how far down in frequency the 590
will
tune. It will tune down to 30 KHZ.
