Hi all,
I just found out something just now, that I didn't know that I could do.
At least you can do this on a Windows 7 computer that is.
Now I have speakers plugged into my computer, in the back where the
audio jack is, which can be used for speakers, or head phones.
So, I thought to myself, "I wonder if I could still use the computer if
I turn off the speakers?"
So, I turned off the speakers, and pressed a key, and what do you know,
I could still hear the computer, because I have 2 audio jacks, 1 in the
back of the computer, and 1 in the front.
Then I wondered, "I wonder what would happen if I totally unplugged the
speakers from the jack in the back? Could I still use the head phone
jack in the front of the computer?"
So, I unplugged the speakers from the jack in the back of the computer,
and pressed a key.
It worked! So, right now, as I'm typing this, I'm using my head phones,
with no speakers plugged in!
I didn't even know this is possible!
Anyway, just a tidbit for whoever is interested!
Harry
