I've used Jaws forever. I've been using NVDA for a few years, and I've
tried System Access. what I've noticed with all three screen readers is
that they sometimes fail to announce the clipboard messages (i.e., copy
to clipboard, cut to clipboard, and pasted from clipboard). The problem
is more likely to come up after a long session or after a lot of
cutting/copying and pasting. When I'm feeling charitable, I imagine the
screen reader is getting tired. I'd say Jaws is more likely to announce
the clipboard messages when it's tired and NVDA is least likely, but
they all do it.

As someone who does a lot of text editing, I like hearing this
announcement in all situations, and I agree that screen readers should
be very consistent about the messages.
