Thanks Sara.
I found that the radio was on the reverse in the Frequency mode and wasn't 
letting me know this.  I turned off menu 7 until I was done programming.  It 
is much better now.  Hope you have a super week, just like the one that I 
have planned for myself...Gary KB2YAA

Are you in dual  band mode?  I don't think you can program a channel in =
