I use dymo tape.
Just write the braille symbols on there with the dymo gizmo or a slate and stylus.
Then cut each symbol out on its own little square with some scissors.
Then peel the backing off the tape and stick it on there.
It works fine on microwaves.  The tape doesn't seem to interfere with those touch controls.
