Hello again,
I've gotten a few more responses on the GF lipstick question. Most mentioned the ones that I already had in my summary, but here were 2 more that I received that I wanted to share. Thanks to all of you that sent me info.
Jan
*Want to share my experience About the not enough gluten to matter in lipstick—I told myself the same thing 17 years ago, when first diagnosed, and very sick. I used the Victoria Jackson cosmetics, and stubbornly refused to even check. Used it several times, got bent over in pain and checked. Contained wheat germ glycerides. After that I made sure to check Everything. Anything you put on your skin can end up in your mouth.
*Hi - I have brought this subject up several times. I hope you will do a summary.
What I have found through my own research is
the gf free ones are as verified by the company:
ELF
Ulta - nice but do not last long at all -they do allow you to return them even if used
Loreal moisture shine
Those companies that said they either do NOT check or definitely are NOT include:
MAC (someone had said these are but I verified both with a rep and with t
he co. that they are not)
Clinique
Lancome
Estee Lauder
Cover Girl - Not sure
Maybelline - Not sure
Many companies will answer and say read the ingredient list. Have you seen how small that print it or what those words are?
