There is a calibration procedure in the manual. Basically you have to use
an insolated screw driver on some pot underneith I believe. Mine's a little
off too.

Subject: TS-590S Slightly Off Frequency
Hello,
I've noticed my TS 590S is slightly off frequency, that is, the display
frequency does not match the receive frequency. The discrepancy worsens as
the frequency increases. From what I can tell from zero-beating WWV on SSB,
and listening to other sideband signals on 50.125 mHz, it seems to be low by
about 40 hz on 15 mHz, and by about 120 hz on 50.125 mHZ. Has anyone else
experienced this with their Kenwoods? If so, how did you address this?
Thanks,
Doug,
AC7T
