Butch,

Take note, when you want to turn it back on, you'll need to press and hold 
that same power button for a good 4 seconds or so. The device takes quite a 
while to boot up so be patient and voiceover will alert you when it does. 
Don't know if you're a baseball fan or not but it'll make a dandy baseball 
receiver. I've commandeered Kathy's old first-generation iPad for just that
