My SKYPE program updated yesterday. Since SKYPE is used with the Handiham's
remote base system, I assumed that might be a good thing to get the latest
version of SKYPE; besides, I use SKYPE for lots of other communications too.
Anyway, this is to give you all a heads-up that when the SKYPE update was
completed, which only took a couple of seconds, my browser's landing page
had been changed from Google to MSN. It didn't ask me if I wanted to change
my landing page nor did it alert me that it was changing my landing page. It
just did it. This stuff really pisses me off! Oh, I know it is easily
switched back. That isn't the point. So, just be aware that if you update
SKYPE, or probably any number of Microsoft's programs, you might,
unknowingly, end up with more changed than you expected or thought you
agreed to or want.
