Subject: [VICUG-L] Accessibility Resource for Web Masters

Hi all,

The editor of a major newspaper has contacted someone I know about the
accessibility of the paper's website for people with visual and hearing
disabilities. The editor does want some end user feedback, but he's more
interested in finding a resource. My sense from the message is that he
wants more of a check list that writers, editors, and web developers can
use with minimal bother than a thorough delving into web standards that
may take time and research. The sentence that most clearly states the
idea is this one: "I was asked if I could point them to a webpage that
would help them know what kinds
of issues to watch out for and some of the options."

  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Ciao
