Unless you know what program is causing this, which is unlikely with a piece of malware, Revo probably won't be of much help.
As far as AdwCleaner, when it says it closes all programs--it means it--including Narrator.
After a few seconds, you should be able to open your fav screen-reader back up. There will be a couple files--the log file and the file that shows what was cleaned. For everything to take effect though, after you open your screen-reader back up, you need to press the Restart option.

I have installed both AdwCleaner and Revo uninstall, and so far it hasn't
solved this particular problem. Of the 2, I'd say AdwCleaner is the more
accessible, but when it does the cleaning function it closes all programs
including your screen reader. Windows narrator is the only one that will
work while it is cleaning.
With Revo, you have to use the Jaws cursor or route it to your PC cursor to
get it to perform the functions you want. But as I said, these random audio
adds still come up which is most distracting, and can interfere if you want
to do any recording.

Thanks for the additional info, Howard.
Today, I'm going to try installing adwCleaner and see if it helps.
