In the menu settings on the stream, you can choose between external
microphone and line in options.  Then you have volume level options as well.
The milestone does this automatically.

I thought the stream had microphone level in only.  The book sense does have
a choice.  I'm wanting to rig up something to record off air and play back
if I want.
