Thanks, Don, for the tip. I'm gonna try it when I have a chance because
there are times when I would really like to use that mic on that radio. 73.

No batteries needed it gets the power from the tm-v71a mic connector
even with that adapter in the circuit.
I can get a couple of feet away from the 60 using it this way and it
works well.
Also there is a menu setting in the 71a for mic gain, don't remember the
number at the moment.
