I am using an ALS-600 and it is a breeze to use. About the only
control of interest is the bandswitch. You wil have to buy the 10
and 12 meter unit separately, but it is only $40 and easy to
install. No soldering--just open the cabinet, put it in position,
and put in four bolts. The bolts provide the connections I guess. I
use it with the MFJ-998 autotuner, which takes care of the matching
with only a single button push.
