You only need one instance of the virtual comm driver, but only one
program can be using it at a time. Be sure the ARCP program is closed
and that nothing else is using that virtual comm port when you start the
logger.
Since it works with the ARCp, I'm sure it is just a simple setting tweak
in the N3FJP that is needed. I would confirm all the settings in the ARCP,
such as comm port, baud, parity, handshaking, etc., and set
up N3FJP the exact same way. I did have the demo version running here
last fall, and had it working quickley using the same settings that work
for ARCP, XMlog, and Writelog.
If you want to run both ARCP and N3FJP at the same time, you would need to
run one on the radio's USB port via the virtual comm port, and the other on
the radio's serial port, using either a serial connection to the pc, or use
of a serial to USB adapter (which will give you another virtual comm port
unrelated to the Kenwood driver).
