You only need one instance of the virtual comm driver, but only one
program can be using it at a time. Be sure the ARCP program is closed
and that nothing else is using that virtual comm port when you start
the logger.
Since it works with the ARCp, I'm sure it is just a simple setting
tweak in the N3FJP that is needed. I would confirm all the settings in
the ARCP, such as comm port, baud, parity, handshaking, etc., and set
up N3FJP the exact same way. I did have the demo version running here
last fall, and had it working quickley using the same settings that
work for ARCP, XMlog, and Writelog.
If you want to run both ARCP and N3FJP at the same time, you would need
to run one on the radio's USB port via the virtual comm port, and the
other on the radio's serial port, using either a serial connection to
the pc, or use of a serial to USB adapter (which will give you another
virtual comm port unrelated to the Kenwood driver).
