Hi!

The OCR commands in Jaws won't do much on tif files. You may be able to get
some success by trying Open Biook or Kurzweil on them, but I wouldn't be
very hopeful.

Dave

If you use JAWS you could try the OCR function. I haven't had much success
with it, but this is from the JAWS help:
--------------------------
The following keystrokes control OCR functionality.

Note: When using OCR keystrokes, press and release INSERT+SPACEBAR, then
press O followed by the final keystroke.

Press INSERT+SPACEBAR, O, W to OCR the current window.
Press INSERT+SPACEBAR, O, S to OCR the current screen.
Press INSERT+SPACEBAR, O, C to OCR the current control.
Press INSERT+SPACEBAR, O, Q to cancel the OCR process.
Press INSERT+SPACEBAR, O, QUESTION MARK to hear the help message for the OCR
keystrokes.

Subject: OT Online OCR

Hi

I recently received 8 documents in TIF format. I went online to find an
online OCR site. However, I haven't found any thing that is screen reader
friendly. Anyone have suggestions?

TNX, God bless, and 73,
Rev. Mark
