Hey all:
Firstly this is not a club. We do not have strict parameters of which we
need to abide.
While some threads go wandering into many different areas, especially
technical topics, we primarily discuss technologies having to do with ham
radio, and blind hams specifically. Blind hams use all sorts of access
technology in their daily lives, and often it is in some way related to the
hobby, or their pursuit of all things amateur radio in nature.
And guess what, you might actually learn something if you read the posts
that aren't always directly related to a transceiver, antenna or other piece
of equipment.

This is taken from the Welcome message new subscribers receive.
"This is not an attempt at censorship, but an attempt at keeping the=

list on track relative to it's stated purposes, which are the discuss=

of amateur radio in general and the blind community's participation i=

the hobby in particular. I am somewhat flexible here--I will allow=
=20
discussion, to a point, of most anything having to do with radio and/=

electronics, but the primary purposes of the list remain as stated, a=

should be it's primary use."
I unsubscribed some time ago because this was not respected and I=
=20
see its not changed. Sad for many of you could provide a wonderful=
=20
resource. I posted one message since I rejoined and got a half answer=
=20
and nothing more.
I guess I do not fit into this "club" even tho I am a ham radio=
=20
operator who is also blind. Maybe I will look up the definition for=
=20
"blind ham" later and see if I can somehow understand what it is I am=
=20
missing. 73,
