Jim, I am fascinated about your hex beam.
How did you mount it, and what are you turning it with?
What bands and how wide is the frequency range?
Does it do what they say it will do?

Lloyd,
OK, that makes sense. I finally got my hex beam up in the air Thursday and
wanted to see if you all could hear me better. It seems to be working OK. I
picked up four new countries since Thursday.
Catch you next week.

I am here, but we have a Virginia station right on 258 in the Rookie
Roundup. After a few minutes I decided it is better to leave the net off the
band and wait until next week. I think it is better to leave these new
operators some room; we don't need to do things to discourage them. Hope
this is all right with everybody. I can't really copy KK4ZDK, so any
transmissions I make will only cause more QRM and confusion.

Can't hear anyone in NJ. Did you all move for the contest or is there no net
today?
