Thanks, David, but it has been a year and a half since I purchased this lap
top. So the return time is long past.

BestBuy said I could have ordered a Windows 7 machine online, but when
investing this much money, I preferred hands on experience verses buying
something I didn't know at all.
Harvey

Hi Harvey!

Tell your store manager to start serving you instead of feeding you bologna.

I finally got a new machine last month that I had put off a year or more
largely because local suppliers would meet my stated requirements which were
for a Windows 7 machine 32 bit. My old Vista machine was still running
although it limited me in some areas, and it's still running out in the
garage, but suffice to say money talks. A buyer should always get what
he/she wants. In fact, I would look into the company's return policy for
help. If you're happy with Windows 8, then don't bother. If not, self
advocate for what you know will do the job you want reliably.

73,
Dave
