Thanks, Steve and Jim for getting back to me regarding my question about the
size of the hex beam. That is wider than I thought.
21 1/2 feet across the diameter at the top is pretty wide. In contrast, the
height of a little over 39 inches is quite a bit shorter than I expected it
to be.

Mine is 21.6 feet diameter. It's got 6 spreaders coming out from the
center, so it is as wide as it is long.
Turning radius is 10.8 feet.
height from base to top of center post is 39 inches. That may or not
include the couple of inches for the mounting thing below the base
and the eye bolt at top of the center post. either way, it's the better
part of 4 feet in height.
Since this thing looks like an upside down umbrella, the widest part is at
the top, although it's not much more narrow at the bottom. Hope that makes
some sense.
