Hi all:

Well managed to close the deal for the Yaesu FT-102's FV-102DM remote memory VFO.
Its gonna cost me but when your building a line, that's how it goes with collectables. LOL
This VFO unit will now give me split capability and control either the TX freq, RX freq or both.
It also has the ability to store 12 memories and I believe direct freq entry plus lock.
The only thing it can't do is give you the ability to listen to 2 freqs at the same time.
Next up for the HAM jar, once its refilled, (HI), is a heavy duty tuner to replace my beat up MFJ.
This may happen this spring when we borrow the rest of the financing to finish our cottage and bucket list. LOL I may even spring for a TS-590 too. LOL

On another note, if anyone's interested, our local VHF evening net, 7:30 eastern calls for echolink check ins.
We have a repeater link system pretty much across our province and 1 of the repeaters has an echolink node. VO1ARG is the repeater and I think there's 1 other 1, not sure on the call sign.
Just do a VO1 search and you'll see all the connections in Newfoundland including the echolinked repeaters.
So that's at 7:30 eastern, 00:30Z.
