David,
I have the latest Wouxun UV8D ht and I love it. The older Wouxun hts
had two problems that have now been fixed. First, the older units would
continue to discharge the battery even though the ht was turned off.
Secondly, though this has not happened to me, after turning the ht on
and off many times, the memory chip would fail.
