Hi All,
After working with my new dinky laptop some more, I've decided to return
it. I plan to uninstall my software and files, of course, but I'd also
like to reset the Windows 10 Pro computer before packing it up.
I've never reset a Windows computer. I'm doing some Googling to learn,
but I thought I'd post here as well. Is the process accessible, or
should I plan to have sighted help around? any sticking points I should
know about?
Just to follow up on my saga ... Running a virus scan mostly cleared up
the internet connection issue even though Windows Defender said no
viruses were found. But I decided to return the computer because it was
running warm and was doing lots of other things that just weren't
normal. For example, sometimes when I tried installing software, I'd get
a message telling me that it wasn't compatible with my computer because
the software no longer supports Windows XP or Vista.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any wisdom on resetting the computer.
Thanks.
Ciao
