Harry,
If you want to delete Windows Live Mail, the most efficient way is to go 
into Programs and Features, which we used to know as Add/Remove 
Programs. In that list, go to Windows Live essentials and press enter, 
as WLM is one of the programs which is contained in the Live Essentials 
suite. I haven't deleted this in a long time but I think that the dialog 
gives you buttons which allows you to delete specific components of the 
program.
