Is anyone having the same problems I'm having with the latest Jaws 15
update, which came out about a week ago?
Since then, I've had lots of instances of Jaws reporting Word documents
and the bodies of email messages as blank. If I unload Jaws and start
NVDA, I can read the document or email message just fine. Sometimes the
problem is corrected by restarting Jaws. Other times it doesn't get
corrected until I restart the computer.
I haven't found any predictable pattern for when/why it happens. I'm
happily reading email then suddenly the next message is reported as
being blank. Then all messages thereafter are also blank, or I'm reading
student work, which I open in Word, and suddenly the next one is blank
as are the rest I open.
I'm using Jaws 15, Windows 8.1, Word 2013, and the current version of
Thunderbird. I think the only thing that has been updated is Jaws, but
if no one else is having the problem, then I may have something else
going on.
