Hi all,
I'm wondering if there's a way to return to the list of slides other
than by repeatedly pressing F6.
I'm creating a PowerPoint presentation. for something basic, the process
is easy with PowerPoint 2013.
you press ctrl+n to start a new presentation. Then you go into the
Insert menu to create a new slide, and you tab to the title and Object
fields to enter text, pressing escape to exit one edit field before
moving to the next. When you're ready, you go back into the Insert menu
to create another slide, and so on.
I'm at the point where I want to proofread and edit. To do this, I'm
pressing F6 several times to cycle to the Slide area (i.e., the list of
slides). Then I'm arrowing down to get to the slide I want. After that,
I hit tab to get to the edit fields for that slide, which I can read and
edit or revise. Finally, when I'm done with that slide, I press F6
repeatedly again.
Is there a shorter, quicker way to get back to the list of slides after
I'm done editing one of them? I've got Jaws and NVDA, and with both,
I've tried hitting escape an extra time or two, but that doesn't seem to
do the trick.
I can live with F6, but if there's a shorter way, I'd rather do that
instead.
Ciao
