I think we used to have a kind of check in net at 9 PM each evening. Over 
the years, simplex traffic has decreased to the extent that I didn't even 
bring a radio to convention last year.

Frank, I don't think so.  Generally there hasn't been as much traffic in
recent years as in years past, but I suppose the best time to listen would
be just before the ACB Radio Amateurs meeting which will be held on Thursday
afternoon from 1-15 until 2-45.  I don't know the room assignment, but all
that will be in the convention program.
